Accommodation for participants will be organised in three types of premises : hotels, camping and especially Schools.

Hotels
Enjoying a long-standing hotel industry tradition, Lausanne has some five thousand hotel beds of all categories, ready to welcome athletes and spectators.

Camping
The city has two camp-sites: at Vidy, situated in an idyllic location on the shores of Lake Geneva and the Pra Colelt site, situated in the higher part of Lausanne.

Schools
Most of the participants will be housed in primary and secondary schools in the Lausanne region. Our Accommodation Commission has done a lot of work so far. It has visited many schools, colleges, gymnasiums and professional centres in order to offer to all participants, the best accommodation possible : a quality establishment, fulfilling all standards required by the FIG and situated less than 30 minutes on public transport from the heart of the event, Beaulieu Lausanne.

To date, 15 communes have been preselected (map below). In each municipalities, a local Organising committee was constituted and makes a considerable work so that everything is ready the D-day. They will have to insure the access of premises and especially the subsistence for the gymnasts.

The Organising committee will underline the excellent collaboration with the municipalities without whom the accommodation of the gymnasts would not be possible.

The gymnasts will have to respect the rules for accommodation during all the duration of their stay.
