DSR – Official Caterer for the WG-2011

The 14th World Gymnaestrada Organising Committee is pleased to present to you the official supplier for all the catering requirements of all of the event’s locations. The DSR company has decided to join the WG-2011 in the capacity of an “OR” partner.

A two-person delegation from the Organising Committee World Gymnaestrada Lausanne 2011 will go to Seoul in South Korea from 3 to 7 February to participate in the "Join the Gymnaestrada" workshop, organised by the FIG and the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU).

Between now and the end of the year, the first merchandising items in the colours of the World Gymnaestrada Lausanne 2011 will be on sale!

Gym for Life World Challenge 2009

From the 15th to the 19th July the 1st Gym for Life will take place in Dornbirn (Austria). Two persons from the Organising Committee World Gymnaestrada Lausanne 2011 will be there.

2009 international Sport & Cultural Festival

From 23 to 28 June, the 2009 international Sport & Cultural Festivalwill take place in Fort Worth (USA). A two-person delegation from Lausanne will be there.

2009 German International Gymnastics Festival

From 30 May to 5 June, the 2009 German International Gymnastics Festival will take place in Frankfurt-am-Main. A two-person delegation from Lausanne will be there.

The 27, 28 and 29 of last March signalled at various levels, a turning point in the preparations for the World Gymnaestrada Lausanne 2011.

Information Meeting 2009 – It's this week-end!

In connection with the organisation of the WG-2011, two working meetings are planned with representatives of the FIG member federations. The first on 27, 28 and 29 this March, and the second in the summer of 2010.

First Information Meeting – 27-29 March 2009 – Lausanne (CH)

Our first information meeting for the gymnastics federation members of the FIG is drawing nearer. As of today, 40 countries have registered to attend. We should like to thank them warmly for their interest. More information about the meeting has been sent to them individually.

If any federation would still like to register, we ask you to contact the Organising Committee as soon as possible.

Working Meeting FIG – WG-2011 2008

From 21 to 23 November 2008, the Lausanne organising committee hosted the members of the “Gymnastics for Everybody” (GPT) Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation for a general working session.

77th FIG Congress – Helsinki, Finland – 17 to 19 October 2008

From 17 to 19 October last, the 77th Congress of the International Gymnastics Federation took place in the Finnish capital. As usual every four years, this congress was the occasion to elect or re-elect the members of the various commissions, which make up the FIG (seven altogether).

From 27 to 30 last August, a delegation from the Organizing Committee took part in the "Join the Gymnaestrada" workshop at Cancùn (Mexico), organised jointly by the Pan-American Gymnastics Union (PAGU) and the FIG.
