I – ECO: Calculate your carbon footprint!
In order to give a concrete appearance to these ecological values, we suggest that you start to get involved by calculating your carbon footprint yourself.
Are you ready to replace your baths with showers? To buy fresh products in season? To recycle your rubbish?
This test will enable you to calculate the ecological impact of your daily activities and make you aware of some daily gestures which can save the environment…
…You may even want to combine your efforts with those being made by the WG-2011 and make a commitment to reduce your impact between now and 10 July 2011!

Lausanne's Engagement
Though Lausanne has no Eiffel Tower, the Lausanne Industrial Services (SIL) will light the Tower of the Usine de Pierre-de-Plan from 22:00 to 24:00 every night during the event. Many thanks to SIL for this excellent idea in light of our dedication to the sustainable developement.
